Whitestone Lake Resort offers a wonderfully comprehensive range of activities for you to enjoy. On site activities for everyone include organized horseshoe, volleyball and badminton games. Also on a more individual level you may wish to enjoy canoeing or kayaking around our rugged lakeshore. The lake abounds with many species of game fish and you can rent one of our motor boats to try your hand at fishing or just site seeing around our 42 miles of shoreline. Hiking and mountain biking are very popular activities so bring a good pair of hiking boots and/or your mountain bike because there are literally miles of unexplored trails and back roads within easy distance of the resort.

We also have daily organized children's programs which are always a huge hit with the young or sometimes even the young at heart.

Cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months and whether on trails or across the magnificent expanse of frozen ice on Whitestone Lake the scenery you will find breathtaking. Just bring your skates and hockey stick too! The kids will love skating on our outdoor on the lake ice rink. Don't forget for all you avid snowmobilers OFSC trails run right by our door and fuel as well as special winter accommodation packages are available on site.

To relax and wind down, take in some sun on our beautiful sandy beach or just sit around relaxing by your own campfire.

Nearby for the more adventurous there are four beautiful golf courses for your enjoyment. You might want to spend an afternoon cruising the 30,000 islands of Georgian Bay on the beautiful Island Queen , exploring one of the many local ghost towns or logging camps or wander through the unique shops and boutiques in downtown Parry Sound. In the evening take in one of the many shows at the new Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts in Parry Sound. Don't forget there are lots of summer and fall fairs and festivals and the colours on Whitestone Lake in the fall are spectacular!
